Vlad's Castle

I haven't been painting as many environments as I would like to lately but here's a piece I did last year for Privateer Press. Not only was this piece a blast to work on it marks one of the first times I got to work with a good friend in the art directors chair, which made me feel like I was in good hands.

I downloaded a video tutorial from Eytan Zanas gum road a few years back that really helps with getting in the right mindset for "juicy shape language" in preparation for a moody landscape.
